I realized as I typed out the title of this post that I haven’t had a Pumpkin Spice Latte this year! I drink my coffee black or with a splash of soy milk, and I hate overly sweet drinks, but I do enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Latte once in a while. Maybe I’ll treat myself to one this weekend!
This cozy pumpkin colored sweater is one of my favorites this fall, and it’s actually borrowed from my mother, who bought it in Korea. I love the color, and it’s the perfect length (not too short, but not long enough to be considered a tunic). I paired it here with a polka dot chambray shirt and these awesome leggings that I discovered at Target. They are nice and thick have a slightly distressed shiny look to them (subtle, not so in your face).
I am so very excited because I can finally wear these Joie heels again. A few years ago soon after I bought them, one of the heel taps fell out. Not having a trusted cobbler to go to, I just shoved them in the back of my closet and figured I’d drop them off eventually. Well… let’s just say that was before I moved to New York. So it’s been a while. But my awesome mother offered to drop off some shoes at the cobbler for me if I needed it, so along with some other well-loved and well-worn shoes (as well as a pair Savannah chewed up), these mary janes are back and better than ever! Wish I didn’t wait so long. So the moral of this story is, my mother is pretty awesome!
What I’m wearing: sweater from Korea, Old Navy polka dot chambray shirt, Target metallic leggings, Joie Veronica mary janes, YSL Muse in Patent Black
